Recording with XEROX Machines
The Xerox company was originally founded in 1906 as The Haloid Photographic Company, a manufacturer of photographic paper and equipment. The name Xerox originated from the greek words "xeros" and "graphia" meaning "dry writing". The Xerox machine was the first ever photo copier, it was developed in 1959 by Chester Carlson and John H. Dessauer.
The machine has been used for nearly 70 years to copy, scan, and send important documents. For nearly as long it has been used countless times to record various body parts all over the world. It's a fact.
I know I spent my fair amount of time seeing how much I could smoosh onto that screen at once. How about you? I am not sure why these xerox copies were even saved, but I am happy that they were because I get to share them with you. You are welcome.
How do you record yourself now? How much longer do you think Xerox machines will be relevant?
